Brianna Roth, Founder/Teacher
Brianna Roth (“Ms.Bri”) is one of the founders and teachers of Casa dei Girasoli. She is a Lowcountry native and enjoys working in the community she grew up in. She holds a Bachelors of Science in Anthropology from the College of Charleston. This is where she developed her skills of observation required in a Montessori classroom. This is also where she first learned of the Montessori method.
The idea of “follow the child” aligned with her beliefs that every child is unique and should be seen for their strengths. After college, she applied as an Assistant Teacher in a Montessori school. She fell in love with the method immediately and was quickly asked to take over as a Lead Teacher. She earned her Early Childhood Credential from the International Montessori Council through the Center for Guided Montessori Studies.
She is passionate about bringing Montessori education to this community. She loves that the power of education lies within each student in the classroom community. When she is not teaching, she is often going on adventures in the mountains, forests, and in the ocean.
