Nila Ham is the Montessori Assistant Guide at Casa Dei Girasoli Montessori School. She was born and raised in Charleston, SC, where she attended Goose Creek High School. While there, she participated in the Berkeley Center of the Arts Program, where she graduated with an SC Fine Arts Seal of Distinction, with a focus in Creative Writing.
After graduation, Nila spent some time at the University of South Carolina where she began working part-time at the Riverbanks Zoo and Garden. Here was where she truly developed her love for education and learning. Nila has an associate’s degree in the Arts from Trident Technical College and is now pursuing a certificate in Early Childhood Development.
She is a firm believer that every single individual deserves to have the opportunity to receive the most nourishing, enriching, and beneficial learning environment that they possibly can, and this belief goes into every decision she makes for herself and others.”
